    For Donkey Kong country check the hook type in Usb loader's settings, usually VBI should work. For Metroid Other M, are you using a fat32 hdd? If so it might be an issue with a cutscene.     According to the guide: NTFS - This partition will be the "USB", you use to store the Wii U games on (don't assign a drive letter). Try setting the drive letter to none on your second partition, that worked for my HDD.

    Could Priiloader bypass the disc drive check? I remember with the original Wii mine wouldn't boot because the bluetooth module broke, but with Priiloader I was able to bypass the main menu and either load the homebrew channel or install Usb Loader GX within Priiloader and boot it directly.

    A bit unrelated but I actually want to achieve the opposite, I have a console that does not boot due to the disc drive not being detected (error 160-1400). Would this console be able to boot if I use stroopwafel? if so do I need to use de_Fuse or could I use ISFSHAX instead?

    Well, I had read that thread already, it does not mention moving saves from Emulator to OFW. Also I am not planning to edit/modify a save file. Just play a save file on an emulator, and then move it to OFW and play it on my switch.
