Yeah, for public hosted tools that have to abide by any laws. Doesn't stop anyone from downloading the open source software and just removing the filter though.
also, dismissing noai tags like that is like dismissing robots.txt, sure people can ignore it, but if you get caught, you're heavily scrutinized for it
Right, in any case I'm focusing on damage done through the use of these tools, and so they would be used anonymously anyway. I don't see a tag stopping someone from creating fake images of somebody they despise and uploading it online somewhere. The tools are all open source and available, even older versions without these protections.

I found it funny cause many many years ago, had a roommate in college that did this same dumbass branding of the school logo, but it didn't look anything like it after it healed. Just looked like a birthmark.
