Hey all, just wanted to give a little status update on some progress I've made on reverse engineering as I'm a tad bit excited :D
Today I have successfully decompressed and reverse engineered Tales of Phantasia GBA to the point where I can now load in my own custom maps!
Here's a little test map...
Does anyone happen to know of any tools that can compress data in a 1-1 ratio with the GBA? So far I have been using these tools by CUE (which are AMAZING) - but if I decompress data then recompress it (without modifying it) the data somehow is not exactly the same
