This isn't a topic I know much about, but some googling leads me to think:
1) Apps have to declare they use JIT in order to use it.
2) Apple won't allow emulators that declare JIT to be on the App Store.
3) On iOS 17, JIT is disabled system-wide, but can be enabled by a tether.
And maybe:
4)...
I read that Dolphin for iOS needs JIT and JIT has been disabled for iOS 17 (by Apple).
But there's older iOS devices. Can Dolphin be released for those and simply run badly on iOS 17?
I saw news of this new automated N64 decompiler: https://github.com/rt64/rt64
Sounds good.
Does this mean we can have a tool to make them into 3DS CIAs soon?
VGC has an article and they link to this page: https://developer.apple.com/app-store/review/guidelines/

So, what emulators should we look out for?
Can the "Extra Data" which includes player-made levels be shared between systems, and has the complete set been archived?
I imagine it's copyright-free since it's all player-made content and the data files don't include artwork.
I saw that the last level of Super Mario Maker has been beaten, and it got me wondering if the level can be played on 3DS somehow. Does anyone know if it can be and if so how?
This isn't something I know a lot about, but I get the impression that Project 64 v1.6 still has a following. Why is that? I would have thought, perhaprs naively, that the latest version would be better.
I think there was also a v1.7 circa 2005, but I think you had to pay for it or be on some...
Wasn't the last update to Citra around 6 years ago?
If so it doesn't seem like this news is going to have any effect on anything, except maybe giving someone else the idea to pick up development.
That sounds a bit misleading about the BS Zelda titles. Aren't large parts of them made-up to fill in the gaps? Or perhaps my knowledge is out of date.

I found it funny cause many many years ago, had a roommate in college that did this same dumbass branding of the school logo, but it didn't look anything like it after it healed. Just looked like a birthmark.
