Maybe you could try to reset your clock, you can use a ds/ds lite and an R4 to have the software to reset the clock. Yt has great vids on this.- jhlords2

It workes for me i even tried swapping out the battery but it still works... it looks like you have a missing capacitor ( bottom left )- jhlords2

I found it funny cause many many years ago, had a roommate in college that did this same dumbass branding of the school logo, but it didn't look anything like it after it healed. Just looked like a birthmark.
