I've just fixed a bug in a GBA game, the Meteorite Mania quest from Sword of Mana. When trading items with the NPC, he's supposed to tell you that your bag's full if you have 99 of the item he wants to give you. That works fine in the original Japanese version. But for some reason in the...

I made a little hack for a gameboy game (Trip World), and since it was my first time hacking a GB game I thought I would write a little about it, and so I made a short guide. So, if you are interested in making simple hacks for old games, the idea is that you could follow my guide, hopefully...
So, my names Joshua :) I made this for fun, I had a few problems during the project (broke the micro sd card for the pi, thankfully I had a copy of the program, although nothing else). If anyone wants to set up something like this themselves, or any questions - let me know :)...

I've played pokemon for years, at least every gen. Just unlucky maybe, but I've never gotten a real wild shiny. (poketracer helped in pearl, but still it's not the same as a real 1/8192 chance) I never actively seek them out. I read gen 6+ the rate was doubled, even so, I didn't find any in...

Hackers and reverse engineers, they do what they do for fun right? I imagine it's fun, a real puzzle, and very rewarding when it's done and you understand exactly how it works. Surely they would be a little disappointed if it took 10 minutes to crack SX OS. Add a little risk in there to spice...

Good luck for everyone taking part! This will be my first time. I'll be making a gba game and testing in on real hardware. The game will be simple, I have some ideas but I'll see what the theme is. But minimal or no artwork, I want something minimalist. I'm not in a team and I'm expecting...

What if Sony never patches any of the PS4 kernel exploits, which means devs don't release anything because they say they will release when they get patched. By doing nothing, Sony prevents piracy. (Just a funny idea, because I know Sony does patch stuff)

Do you guys think there would be interest? I would put it on youtube, the code would be for Windows, Visual Studio, C#. I would take a vita/3ds save (or any game really), find an offset like 'money', then we make an exe to load the save, display the value/money/hp, edit it and save the file...

On the other hand there are those chandeliers with like 50 lightbulbs and that would be a bit expensive to replace with smart bulbs.

Anbernic's SP clone will be $60 and I think I'll buy it. Looks decent enough and it will stop me from drooling over every single new handheld that comes out.
