Hi guys im modding my nintendo switch OLED for the first time. soldered everything but the first error i got is

==* CPU always reach BCT check (no glitch reaction, checkmosfet)

i pretty confident with my soldering skill

This is the picture of the mosfet soldering

After changing my to new mosfet. the error still persist and i spray they board with pcb cleaner multiple times.. resolder some broken link because of the thin wire.. slight movement might cause it to break.

i got into this error.

CMD not connected. after further inspection i guess the cmd resistor was broken. i replaced it to another resistor which is bigger in size but same value.. i also soldered 0.02mm to connect the connection but the error still persist.

Do you guess think my wire is too thin ? is there anyone sucessfull modded the switch using my 0.02mm.

Please advice i dont know what to do anymore.

Please also advice what is the value of diode mode for each pin.

Value of diode mode of before the point is connected to picofly

Dat0 = 0.774v
CLK = 0.785v

this is my value after installed all point on diode mode

RST 1.259v
CLK 0.783v
CMD 0.774v
DAT0 0.781v
PWR 0.838v
GND 0v

is there any abnormalities here ?

If some one please share with me there working value of the diode and also the voltage value when its turning on. this also might help greatly for me to pinpoint which part is bad.

This is my kamikaze dat0 picture, maybe i did mistake here

I dont know why people still insist to use 2 mosfets connection. Done more then 100 consoles with this installation method and i can ensure you that it works with instant boots. Make sure to use at least 30 awg on CLK (CPU sends high Pulse), GRD and Power. All the rest can be connected with those magnetic thin wire. If you search a bit more you will find that 1 mosfet works like a charm. Congratullations for your Kamikaze mod, well done. Dont forget to mask all the copper exposed.

Google isn't very helpful anymore, you get recommended loads of crap that doesn't solve the thing that you're looking for.

@K3Nv2, afaik yeah but I also don't think that it runs on home grade routers like openwrt/dd-wrt does. OPNsense runs on full-on x86 PC hardware
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Sadly openwrt seems to be dying for support unless it's just. Anew name
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Like made by the same devs different architecture
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
idk, I mean it had a new release back in March https://github.com/openwrt/openwrt/releases
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Not sure how recent hardware it supports though
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I mean for 1st party routers iirc linksys use to support it
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
ahhhh that I have no idea
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
    pretty cool though if so
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Or from what ive heard ways to set custom imgs for 1st party routers so locked down now days

OPNsense VM and specs and specs of system it's running on. https://imgur.com/a/S9wgGUD

I've turned more features on in OPNsense lately and it's getting kind of high on RAM usage, I see. Probably bump that up to 4GB soon
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I wanna make a 8core router with support for 20gbps doesn't even sound that silly lol
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
I only have 1 gig internet but internally I have 10 gig connectivity for everything on my lan lol

    silly shit
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
eventually this desktop is going to act as a server too, just for the hell of it. Because this PC is WAY fucking overkill for how little I use it.
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
And once I do that, my desktop OS that I interact with is just going to be a virtual machine and use GPU passthrough to connect everything
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
    Send it to me ffs
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
No because it's my desktop lol
