Emulation Homebrew when i go to wii dump and get a .7z file what do i do to it to make it playable?

It's called extracting.
Anyway, you probably put them in the wrong place. They go in the wbfs folder. But you should use Wii Backup Manager to transfer games since it will take care of organizing them into named folders, splitting them when needed and converting ISOs, much easier to manage your games this way.
